I have bought one like this before and it was way sturdier than this one. I've only had it a month and it's starting to loosen at the seems. The material is not the same. Its much thinner and the cushion on top is cheap cheap cheap. When sitting or resting your feet on it, the cushion doesn't rise back to form. It stays flat!

Ok, first thing you should know is a 270 lb woman can sit on this thing for an hour without breaking it. Had someone "test" it for me, and thank God it is sturdy. The color is amazing, it stores two extra fluffy throw pillows and about 10 candles (don't ask). Soft, stylish, I love it. Wish it was a little bigger, but I love it.

this is an incredible little ottoman and has quickly come to be a staple in my home office area! I have been dealing with ADHD my entire life and for one reason or another, I find that I focus best when and where I can put my legs up. I spent a significant amount of time looking for one that would fit under my narrow desk before I found this. Assembling it was almost laughably easy and it fits perfectly under my desk! i use it to hold craft supplies and excess paper and it's much sturdier than I figured it would be. I would absolutely recommend this as a foot stool but I do not know if I could vouch for it's use as a storage bench.

I bought this product for storage, but maybe even more so for seating. I've owned one of the popular storage cubes of a similar design and always wanted a slightly larger one. However, this product is not a real seat, the first time I sat on it, I could feel I was sinking into it, and it was not going to hold much weight. Therefore, this is great for storage, but half of the reason to buy this over a storage bin is for the external aesthetics and seating ability, and it lacks the latter.

This ottoman looks great in our living room. The color is true to what you see online and the fabric is very soft. It matches with everything. My only dislike is that the fabric padding on the cushion becomes disfigured after my young kids sit on it for just a few minutes. I’m a little concerned that it won’t retain its shape over time, but it is a great buy for the price.

I ordered this piece to use as storage for blankets/Throws in the living room and for a foot rest. This piece is handling them both. The top is padded and yes, it depresses a little when you prop your feet on it but it bounces back. The color and fabric are really nice. The color on line is true in the burgundy. The storage capacity, I store 3 Thick, LARGE NFL Team throws in there and I still have room for 1 more or a couple thinner ones. I love it. It's just the right size as to not overcrowd the space. I would purchase it again!

As far as a pleasant-looking little place to rest your feet, this is that. Lifting it from place to place is a little tricky, because the folding design with the lid on top tends to create awkward lifting or sliding along the floor. I can't even imagine putting much of anything inside it and still being able to move it around. But, for what I wanted, a place to prop my feet that isn't an eyesore, I'm good with it.

Love this for the price!! Just what I needed. My bedroom has very little closet space so I got this for either shoes or sweaters/sweatshirts. Not something I would stand on as it’s not meant to be too weight bearing, but definitely sturdy. Posted a picture close up next to a white chair with wooden legs for color comparison.
