DO NOT BUY! There do not work properly on Oculus Quest!
These are intended specifically for use with Oculus Quest. These headphones are mark L for the left channel of audio on one and R for the right channel of audio on the other one. The right one only plays the left audio channel. You will not get 3D positional audio using these headphones. This is obviously a design or manufacturing error and hopefully will be fixed soon but there is no official word yet from Oculus about this issue. Until then, do not buy these.

All of these are currently defective - do not buy.
There was a manufacturing default with the majority of these buds. They only output mono sound - which means you can't tell where any sound is coming from.Do not buy.

So..... they work as advertised.. ..rare for some things on amazon...so a 5!
Not had any problems with either ear buds. Being a sound engineer in previous years I was not expecting true audiophile expectations of fidelity. I am not sure who thinks these would tbh but I guess that is the sign of the times. It provides an easy way to wear phones without having to MOD or hack or add weight etc.. does the job as expected. For me, I'd rather skip the MacGyver duct tape approach and go with these just use for convenience. That's just me though. Albeit they are on the pricy side but convenience I guess always has a price. Until something else comes along I am satisfied with my purchase. Since I don't see a competitor with the same convenience I gave a 5.

Not great for quick moving activities
Update Oct 2020: *Alert: these do not work with the Quest 2!*I bought these a bit too quickly--I tend to have fairly bad luck with in-ear headphones, I just always get the feeling that they are not positioned the right way and I just fidget with them a lot. Maybe I have strange ears; I don't know. Here's the deal:1 - for applications where you are sitting down or not doing much movement, these are fine. There is more bass, they are fairly comfortable...just fine--nothing really out of the ordinary, in terms of comfort/sound quality.2 - if you are using your Quest to workout, like using a boxing game or Supernatural, where you are moving around a *lot*--these are not that great, at least for me...they just keep popping out. I tried using a different size, but smaller felt strange (I was jamming them in too far) and large just seems...too large.I should have gotten headphones that have little clips that go behind the ear or something. I *really* wish that I could just connect my Airpods to the Quest, that would be great. All in all, fine for general use, but I am going to look for something more appropriate for fitness applications.

Nice clear sound
Nice clear sound. Comes with two other size earbud thingies so you can adjust the size if you need to. Also to figure out which one is left and right, it has a R and L one each earbud itself. I would highly recommend you turn on your Oculus and wait for that initial “boop” sound before you put your headphones in your ear. Otherwise it is extremely loud.

Comfortable with Great Sound
I love these in-ear headphones. They are extremely comfortable which is great because I typically hate in-ear headphones. I tried over-ear headphones but they proved to be too clunky for my taste. The cords are short which is great as you don't have to worry with them getting hung on something. The sound is good. Don't expect music studio quality as it really doesn't make sense in this type of device. Finally, the price is high but it is an Oculus product that works perfectly with the headset.

Over-all a decent pair of earbuds from Oculus.
- Sound:Sound quality is good. Highs & mids seem to sparkle whereas bass seems punchy but not muddy.- Comfort:With the included 3 styles of ear padding I find the mid sized ear pads to seal off outside sound well & be comfortable for long play sessions. This is completely subjective though & others may need to try the other included sizes.- Price:The price is a bit lofty here & other options may be a better purchase from third parties.- Verdict:Over-all a decent pair of earbuds from Oculus designed specifically for the Quest. Sound is good but I wouldn't consider these "Audiophile" grade earbuds. Sound isolation & privacy is the goal here for more immersive & less intrusive VR sessions & these do just that. Comfort at least for me personally, has been great. All this said, the price is a tad steep here & other options are available.

In-ear earphones are overrated!
Of all the shapes of headphones, Oculus chose the worst one, ever, if your ears collect so much earwax. I did my best to find the right size to put them in my ears by those three caps they included, but they always fall out from them. My left ear must've collected more earwax than my right because I can't hear the left side. I did my best to clean the left side to get the wax out. I washed it with a mildly wet toothbrush. But it doesn't work anymore. I hate in-ear earphones! I HATE THIS ITEM, OCULUS!!!Those who gave this item a 5-star rating must be using a Q-tip and damaging their eardrums. This is just my opinion. If you're going to buy it, let me ask you something: if you have clean ears like the English Channel, go ahead. But if they collect so much earwax like Shrek--he's got a lot to make a candle--, AVOID. THIS. ITEM.

Great for noise cancelling
These aren't active noise cancelling headphones but they do work that way. I've gone loud with these and people can't hear what I'm doing. Useful when you're experimenting with adult VR experiences (that's what my friend said anyway). This also goes the other way as I can't hear my girlfriend when she's asking me what I'm getting up to on my Quest. The sound is good. It's not audiophile quality so you won't get superb clarity and separation. But the bass response is nice and it gets loud enough for your needs. Also loud enough that you will hear some warm fuzziness when there is no sound playing. This doesn't bother me but will probably bother some people out there. These are quite expensive, but they don't feel cheap or like you've been ripped off. They are sturdy and have a soft rubbery feel all over. I've tugged at them accidentally several times but I've never been worried about them snapping or breaking. Each plug has its own L/R indicator and it comes with 3 sets of ear plugs (S/M/L).All in all, for me these are great for my needs. They're tidy because the wires are short, they get super loud and also easy to take on and off. I'd be even happier if they were a tad cheaper.
