A life changing device for me
I purchased version 2.0 of this device and the manufacturer has been listening to comments from users and making running changes such as the three speeds and the rear suspension. I am an XL size user (6'2", 230lbs) and recently returned from a 26 day cruise around Europe. I rode this little scooter on cobblestones, miles and miles through the Vatican, inside ancient cities and all over the streets of San Juan upon our return stateside. There was only one time it was less than ideal and that was going uphill, on slick tile that was wet from a drizzle. It still make it, just had to lean way forward to get weight on the front wheel.I suffer from Thoracic Spinal Stenosis and so while completely mobile, cannot walk for long distances. A wheelchair is too cumbersome and hard to maneuver, a "traditional" three wheeled scooter too large and heavy but this is just perfect. It stowed easily in the stateroom on our cruise ship, easily threw it into the storage area on tour buses and even the tour drivers and operators wanted to know about it.Airline travel was a breeze, gate checked it and it was waiting at the next stop before we even got off the plane. I had printed out data on the specifications and the battery certification so no problem either internationally or domestically. To give you an idea how popular this was, I had business cards printed up with a brief description of the scooter and where to get it (Amazon, obviously). I took 250 of them with me and was out of cards by the end of the second week. Tour operators were interested in them as rentals, people wanted the information for someone in their family with walking problems and our shipmates test drove it all over the ship with huge grins on their faces. This would not work for someone with balance problems or who doesn't have the strength to throw it into the storage area when needed (28lbs but easy to grasp in two places and lift). For someone like me who can stand, move about, walk 1/2 mile or so without a problem and who still has a bit of upper body strength, it is truly a godsend. This was our trip of a lifetime and this little scooter made it all worthwhile. Had I been required to walk, I would have missed 75% of what I saw. Even if it had fallen apart or failed at the end, it would have been a worthwhile purchase. As it is, still runs like new and except for a few airline induced scratches, looks like new. It will go on its next journey in March on another cruise. As to "real world" specifications. It holds my 230lbs without a problem. Will go a measured 10 miles on a charge with me on it, a lighter person (150 lbs or so) could easily go 12-15. It will go an honest 20kmh but you don't need anywhere that speed. It recharges from drained (and you never fully drain the lithium batteries) in about 4 hours using a very compact charger. I can fold it now in 15 seconds flat but I do use a strap to keep it folded when its going aboard the aircraft or stored in the room. So many people made the comment that it didn't slow down any tours because it was so compact and easy to unfold - not the case with some of the mobility scooters out there that can take 5 minutes to assemble.I would buy this again in a minute if mine ever broke or got stolen. I am concerned that they are now advertising a lower weight capacity - 100KG versus 120KG and I couldn't get a clear answer out of the seller as to why this was the case. I don't see ever having to replacing the one I have since I don't use it daily. The one major drawback is that it cannot be used in the rain so you wouldn't want to get caught out on tour and have a rainstorm pop up. Not sure how they could fix this, simply too many moving parts to truly waterproof it. It had no impact on me during our travels - we were in Venice during the historic floods but I just walked the short distances since you couldn't go very far anyway. If you, or a loved one, need a mobility fix, seriously consider this item. I have no connection to the seller, don't get a commission but really like to share something that has been so life changing for me.

Ridden with caution - A good choice for older individuals with some movement disabilities.
I like this little electric "scooter" a lot. I do think the rear wheels should be a bit further apart for added stability. I have also found it is too easy to "spin out" the front driver wheel when going up an incline or crossing a grass area. The user and assembly manual is minimal and could use considerably more information and more and better illustrations. That being said, It is fun to ride - my 13 year old grandson likes it a lot. I feel it is best used on hard surfaces like sidewalks and hard floors. I received this little scooter 3 days ago and have ridden it in Costco and Sam's club and took it to an art show and sale as well as driving it through hospital halls on the way to and from a meeting.. One has to be careful to keep it in low power mode while inside moving around other shoppers, around corners, and in and out of isles. I have received many comments on how cute it is as well as some inquiries regarding where I purchased it and so forth. The website suggests it is a good choice for people over 50, I am 76 and have had Parkinson's for 17 years. I do still walk but experience a lot of "movement freezing", a common Parkinson's issue. So far this little scooter has been quiet helpful. Hope to update once I have a few weeks of use under my belt.

Great for travel
I used this for a cruise. I filled out paperwork for the Cruise-line and Airlines. But that made it much easier for boarding. I replaced the narrow seat w the Schwin Wide Breeze Saddle. I put it in a travel golf bag for transport. (Both on Amazon) I went everywhere on the ship. I took it on excursions. Easy to fold and store in my room or on the bus. But I should have made cards to pass out. So many people had questions. I couldn’t have done as much w/o it! I only had problems w sandy terrain in one area. I went 5days w/o having to charge it. tom4416 review has more info. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. It’s a little heavy for me at 30 lbs. but it’s lighter than others. If your walking is limited this is for you. I had no problems w accessibility and no one doubted it was a mobility device. I ride it in WalMart all the time now. It’s much more maneuverable than the store scooters. I only use settings 2 and 3. Medium and low. Setting 1 is way too fast for me. 3 was perfect when walking w someone. It came w a charger, small light, basket, and a holder for your phone. Also Allen Wrenches for tightening. The light, basket, and phone holder all hook on the handle bars. I only use the phone holder. Everything else is too crowded and heavy, but they were free. I had a great time on the cruise all due to TopMate. I was able to see more, go further, and have more energy at the end of the day. Recommended!
