I bought this for my mom so that she can read small print books. She loves it and the fact that it has a light is a bonus. It has a string attached so that you can wear it around your neck, but it is pretty flimsy. Other than that it’s a great product.

We found it more helpful to keep the front legs folded under and use the magnifier at an angle instead of having to stand over it.

Unfortunately this was not what I thought it would be.It was very flimsy and inconvenient to use.I gas ve as a gift for convenience and am very disappointed.

Mom really loves this. She has been having trouble reading her mail and this has helped out tremendously. It would have received 5 stars if the lamp worked without being plugged in. Otherwise, great product for it intended purpose at a great low price.

I found I was struggling to read scripture and other small print books and have been looking for a tool that would enable me to have hands free while I take notes. This magnifier has really made my reading so much easier. It has tiny lights around the perimeter and is light weight, and I really like the idea I can use either tiny batteries or USB. I suspect my hubby will want to use it when those tiny detail type projects come up where he needs extra light and good vision.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas. He was using a hand held page magnifier that he had stacked books under to hold it up. He was having a hard time holding the hand held magnifier and holding open the book. He loves that with magnifier he just slip his book right under it without having to worry about other parts.

While it can be used without running a computer at the same time, it has to have the room lighting at a perfect angle usw. The legs by the way are very flimsy and fold up at the least wxcuse.

I bought one for my Mom and one for my husband, due to I bought one for me a while back, and love it. I'm sure they'll like it as well, but it's for them for Christmas.
