SpeedoMen's Swimsuit Brief Powerflex Eco Dive Solid

My actual waist size is 32”, however I’ve learned over the years that garment manufacturers use “waist” to mean where the waistband actually sets, which in this case is closer to the top of the hips than the true waist; I ordered size 34 and the fit is indeed exact where the waistband sets (as accurately seen on model) while the rest of this swim brief fits the (slim) body smoothly and accurately with just enough material to securely cover and comfortably stay in place throughout a lap-swimming session. All stitching is neat and accurate as well as strong; excellent build quality with an ample and sturdy waistband-drawstring sewn-in to the double-lined front-half panel and flat-stitched as needed; no bulky panel-joints, etc. So far, after about 8 weeks of 3x/week (on average) usage (in deep blue; I also bought one in blank, which I’ve used just a few times), in fairly harshly chlorinated water, the fabric and color are unchanged; fresh-water rinsed after each use and air-dried.

I like everything about this. Fits good, looks good.

This brief is very comfortable and not too small on the sides: 5 inches are just perfect for my personal taste. It might seem a little small when you first put it on, but the lycra will relax and it will fit perfectly, so I don't recommend buying a larger size.My only complaint is the durability. I swim 4-5 times a week (on highly chlorinated pools) and it does not last more than 3-4 months. After that the the fabric relaxes too much and the black turns into a brownish-green semi-transparent color, which is essentially non-usable.I still keep buying it though (I am now on my fourth replacement). This would be perfect for the occasional swimmer, or maybe for swimming on non-chlorinated waters (lakes and ocean).

I am very happy with this swimsuit. I had a hard time finding large-sized swimsuits and this fit the bill perfectly. The fit is perfect, and they are comfortable and look great! I haven't used them a lot, but they are definitely well made and I expect them to last well

I wear 36" pants and I tried the 36 and 38 sizes. The 36 feels tight but I figured out the lycra is supposed to feel tight. It is not uncomfortable and the 38 felt almost as tight in the legs and started to sag in the front. It dries quickly and has kept its shape so far (a few months).At 5 months of service: I swim 2 or 3 times a week; the swimsuit is falling appart. I guess lycra deteriorates fast in chlorinated water. I have to try polyester.

Fit was perfect. Size 36....I'm 6'4 and 228lbs. Speedo delivered an exceptional product. Tried cheaper knockoffs in the past...became loose and ended up tossing them.

I have not worn a Speedo brief swim suit for over 40 years. I decided to try this one exclusively for use in my pool which is in a screened pool enclosure that is surrounded by a tall hedge. So, no worry about scaring the neighbors. ;-) I bought it hoping it would be comfortable, fast drying and easy to rinse after use.Happily, I can report that it meets all those criteria. But, I wanted to submit this review hoping it may be helpful to someone else contemplating ordering one. I read all the questions and all the reviews before I ordered. (Yes, I'm OCD.)Several commented that this suit runs somewhat small. I carefully measured myself at each recommended body location (remember, I'm OCD) and came out being a "perfect" size 37. So, based on the reviews and answered questions, I decided to go the half size larger, a 38. The 38 fits and is comfortable but after wearing in daily for a week it's clear that a size 36, would fit better. So, based on my experience, if your an in-between size, I'd recommend going to the lower size. (I should point out, that other than my love handles and old geezer gut, I have a thin build.)

Like everyone else said, order a side larger than your normal. Other than that, feels great, looks sturdy enough, and looks pretty good

Can't comment on the double life fabric claim yet, but it fits and swimming is comfortable. I never like the big board style shorts for swimming, and this is a middle ground between the real small speedo and the way too much fabric models that take forever to dry.
