Homeleader 36" Electric Fireplace hearths, with Remote Control, Wall Mounted and Freestanding Fireplace, Space Heater, 1500W, Black

Just finished setting my fireplace up. Unfortunately, my excitement was depleted when the "logs" were loose in the fireplace, and marked up much of the interior glass in the back, and I tried to clean it, but cannot get it off. When I finally turned it on, the "flame" was yellow. The pictures all showed a red color, so this just broke my heart.... It was a Valentine Day surprise, but didn't turn out as expected. :'(

I have not used it for heat so cannot rate that. It came promptly, well packaged, as described. Fairly easy to assemble as a freestanding unit (I did not hang ).

The overall effect of the flames in this electric fireplace is very underwhelming. I had another brand which allowed you to choose various color options. In particular, these flames are a rather dull orange with no shades of red at all. It's a very boring display, quite disappointing. I wouldn't purchase this again for this reason but it was going to be too much hassle to return it.

Our radiator leaks so until we can replace it, we thought it would be fun to decorate the area to look like a fireplace- plus have a much needed space heater. It keeps our bedroom toasty without using tons of power and the faux fire is soothing for sleep. It’s relatively quiet (just enough soft white noise for us). Overall very happy with this purchase.

I was hoping for a more realistic looking fire but it just has a very little bounce in it. Not even individual movements .

Read all the ratings. Checked out the company. Delivery was a day earlier than first stated. One question I wondered and did not see an answer to was does the heat just come off the top of unit. Setting inside of the the fireplace you don't feel the heat as much. I plan to get a deflector.

I used this fireplace In a home remodel I was doing. Works well a provides a plesent setting to relax.

This is not really a heater.
