I wear this chain every day with several charms that have sentimental value. Since I wear it daily, I've broken one a time or two and just ordered another after I caught it on something while doing yard work. My own fault, but my point is that I come back and buy the same one because it's very good quality.The silver does not tarnish. It remains beautiful no matter what. I shower and bathe, swim....I do everything with my necklace on. I've never had it tarnish.The other thing I love about this is that it has a flat oblong clasp. The little ring you attach the clasp to is also thin and oblong. The reason I like this is that I am able to slide the small rings for my charms right through, where sometimes round clasp rings will make it so my charms do not fit. I also like how the chain looks with the thin clasp. If the clasp comes to the front it's not unsightly.The chain also comes with a different clasp that is round if you prefer to change to that one. I do not use it, but I guess it's nice to have if you do use something like this.Thanks for reading my review.Becky Brooks

I just received this chain, and am IMPRESSED! Some of the previous reviews had called it " too thin" but it really isn't. It's like liquid silver on the skin, and is just beautiful, and elegant. It was nicely packaged for shipment, and came in a pretty box ...and get this: they have included a spare lock and a few extra links in case I'd like a different lock system.How thoughtful! I'm definitely looking for other items from this seller. Maybe even another chain. This purchase was for a gift. I think I can use it on some of my own pendants. A big Thank You to the seller ;)

Updated review:I got this on May 20 and the chain broke on July 15. Not the clasp, but the middle of the chain just snapped into 2 pieces. It was pretty and would be good if you plan on wearing it only occasionally but I wore it every day and I guess it can't take the wear and tear of everyday use.Original review:Perfect for a pendant. My wife has a certain pendant that she likes to show off on some occasions. I always felt that the rather flimsy chain this fairly expensive pendant came with did not properly present this pendant. Without her knowing, I switched the original chain to this one. It made all the difference, I tell you. That night she reaped more compliments than ever before. What a difference a chain makes! Great product.

I needed a sterling silver chain for a heavier pendant, and I saw this chain. I like snake chains to begin so ordered in the 20 inch length. I love it, it's a sturdy chain, the 1 mm is thick enough to hold my pendant, and it's a very pretty chain. I wear it to bed at times and it hasn't kinked, I've had no problems. Very beautiful and just what I wanted, and I like there are different lengths available. It also came with a separate extender which looks really nice and I believe is also sterling, it works well, and was a nice added bonus. Excellent purchase and when I need another sterling silver chain, I'll be coming back to this brand.

Very disappointed! I only wore the necklace for 2 weeks because the chain broke at the clasp. Out of the box, it was beautiful, and I was happy with it until one day I felt something in my shirt...it was my necklace! As beautiful as this necklace is, I wish I could say it is a quality product, but to break after only 2 weeks? So disappointing...

I was very happy when this chain arrived. I'm glad I went with the majority of reviews for this chain. It's beautiful, but not overdone. I was looking for something strong in sterling to hold a pendant, but so many chains - like the boxlink - overshadow the pendant. This chain does not.

The link that is at the end of the chain became unattached on one side so that the clasp slid off, as well as did my pendant, which is now gone forever. Poor quality. Do not trust the craftsmanship and if you choose to buy one of these, check it over carefully before trusting that it will keep your treasured pendant safe and secure. So sad. I will not be able to return. Window closed in January, barely got to enjoy.
