AISENCarburetor for Ryobi RY3714 RY3716 Chainsaw 309376002 Carb Gasket Primer Bulb

I went ahead and ordered this because I needed it. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the choke axel connector was longer than the installed one. I decided to give it a shot since others had said it worked fine. Well, the length was an issue because you can't reverse the choke lever and it was now in the way of the throttle connection. I pondered a moment and decided to swap the choke axel from the old one to the new one. Thank goodness the diameter was ever so slightly narrower on the old one because the new choke axel would not fit into the old carburetor. Any how, put it all back together with new carb and old choke axel and it ran fine as well as idle... The last thing to mention is they included two gaskets and neither had the appropriate hole pattern so had to use the old one to complete the project. I know it is only a $16 item but it should have been plug and play... ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK. And last but not least, the model number under the bar code on the box does not come up on the amazon site so can't confirm the correct part was sent... Total ball drop!!!

The choke lever sticks out almost a quarter of an inch further than it does on the original. This completely blocks access to the throttle wire, making it impossible to connect the throttle wire on the new carburetor. A waste of money, a waste of time, a waste of patience.Note the ways the new carburetor does NOT match the one in the item description photograph. Look at the choke linkage (bottom right) and not how it sticks out further than the one in the item description.

spent about 15 min replacing the old carb and primer bulb now my chainsaw fires right up.

It didn’t work because of left side linkage was larger than original causing it to jam, also choke would get stuck close,
