A plus in the pantry
I love knorr products, flavour is to die for, just adds taste to meals. Works well with any dish. It is value for money and the container is reusable. Its a plus because it is gluten free, making it a healthy choice. Tasty, tasty. Easy to use, u can follow instructions on label or create your own recipes with it.

Tasty but lid fiddly
Very beefy. I know that the lid is designed to seal the product but it is quite difficult to get off. Add to any beef or lamb dish for extra flavour. I buy cheap tinned French onion soup and add a level soup spoon of this per can and it fairly elevates the dish from OK to Wow!

Is it expensive?
Hmm, not really...you are getting a product far superior to those commonly sold in supermarkets such as Knorr's own wildly popular stock cubes and if you work out the amount of stock cubes you would go through to produce a similar amount of tasty stock then buying those would actually end up costing a fair bit more. This applies even more in consideration of "stock pots" and ready made stock. These are not cheap but they are fair for the quality of the product. As for the stock itself you get bits of beef "curd" floating in it as you would with gravy made from actual beef stock and that is a rare sign of quality. The only downside are the containers - they are a nightmare to open even though they loosen up slightly after the first few times you open them. (I also bought the chicken version of this and on first opening that one I had to use such force that, even when trying to be careful, a good 4 tablespoons full spilt out onto the floor.

More instruction please
This is great, though I find I need to use more powder for flavour. I’m not sure if your meant to reduce for gravy or use thickener, instructions are sparse but I suppose a professional would know!
