Better than Air Bags
Installed the Sumo Springs (SSR-207-47 airless air bags) on the 2017 Silverado 2500HD (Z71 with Rancho Shocks) this morning. Yes, Amazon indicates its not the correct part but it is. Probably one of the easiest installed I’ve ever done; Under 30 minites with clean up! Truck is sitting with 2100 lbs slide-in camper in the bed and it currently sits level front to rear 'before' Sumo Springs were installed. Take this into consideration for the below numbers. The camper's weight dropped the bed 3" at the fenders with standard spring; just starting to touch the overload leaf. Once installed, Sumo Springs made contact and were compressed 0.25” and lifted the truck 0.5” at rear fenders; so they are under full time compression but not by much. As advertised, Sumo Springs can compress up to 80% of their 6 inch length; at 50% compression they lift 1500 lbs (heavier available) for a level ride height when loaded heavy. Took the truck for a drive doing 'severe' sharp turns back and forth (low speed) and bumps; almost NO roll and over heaves in the road they damped out the spring compression/bottoming from road input to a smooth transition/feel.Yes, I feel they are better than the Firestone air bags I installed on the "last" truck; no bouncy, bouncy. Eventually I installed Rancho 'adjustable' shocks with 2.5” diameter and that took care of the bounce from the air bags. Observations from my personal experience and hope this help you decide which way to elevate your ride height or control 'roll' when loaded. After more experience with Sumo Springs, I may increase rating to 5-stars.

Use 2x4 and a Jack
As others have said, it’s way over priced for what it is. Install is easy but noting you can’t install these by hand. You have to use a jack and a 2x4 to get the portion of sumo spring into the frame. It’s a quality product and it works well. I like them better than air bags. Towing my 13k full dump trailer, it improves control and handling. No more “Buick” float towing heavy. I would buy again, but the price is steep.

easy to install
install took less then 30 min way over priced for what they are but do the job and are a lot more stable then the air bags I had on the truck I went for the 1500lb ssr-207-47 on my 18 2500hd to help carry a 8ft 1500lb popup camper plus 300+ pounds of gear the truck compressed the springs 2.5 inches the ride was stable and firm whats really great is these don't affect your ride comfort unloaded so far I like them but I should have bought the heavier ones for future larger camper

Does the job I need
Put these on a 2015 Silverado one ton, have run them for over a year now. Have a 3200 lb truck camper, also sometimes tow a 4500 lb boat at the same time — about 600lbs addl tongue weight. These offer the perfect amount of additional support without making the unloaded ride worse than it already is. With both camper and boat, I could maybe use a bit more but certainly manageable. Tried the blue two-piece Sumos before this and it was totally intolerable unloaded. These are just the right amount of extra. So PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEIGHT RATINGS.

Easy to install but cost too much for what you get
Not what I’d expect for the price, seem to function but it’s literally just a longer factory style bump stop. It doesn’t make your truck stay level, it just hit the bump stop faster.Running thru mountain roads with a load on and these things bouncing wasn’t what I’d call a good feeling at all. Time to get air bags like I should have in the first place.

Easy install. Better ride.
Very easy to install. Lowered my Chevy 2500 using 2 inch shackles and the suspension was too soft. These kept the lowered stance but stopped it from bottoming out on rough railroad crossings.

Better then expected! Great quality!
Great product! I choose sumosprings vs air bags and I'm happy I did! Easy to install took less then 10mins. Test drove it over bumps and noticed a definite improvement! It's affordable and durable.
