If you need to power a camera over POE, it does the job. If needed outside, it's not a good choice. Get a camera with POE builtin. This item will not last long outside. I have one completely wrapped with black tape and protected by my soffet. It should only be used indoors.

Works great! Using a POE+ Cisco switch to power my Wi-Fi router. I was skeptical whether this would work with proper POE equipment, but it does!

Dont work
Took a little longer for me to install this product, but as soon as I installed it did not work. Power light just blinked on for a second and went out. Video or audio did not work. I can't even return it since I missed the return window. I would not buy again.

Awful garbage.
Really awful. It only lasted for about 2 weeks. I had it replaced and the second in died too. Just burn your money it would be more satisfying.
