Really useful
Really useful bit of equipment when you want to add some resistance to bodyweight exercises such as Dips, squats and pull ups.The belt is comfortable when using added weight and the chain is strong and sturdy.I have only put 20kg on it so far but I'm sure in the future when I up the weight it will be up to the task.Having a long chain means it's adjustable to many different body shapes.I'd say this is a reliable piece of kit and will be used lots over the years in my home gym.At £14.99 it offers decent value for money.I hope you find my review helpful.

When additional weight is required for dips and pull ups
The belt seems to be manufactured well from a visual observation. No loose threads and neat stitching.I did test it with 50kg (2x 25kg olympic plates) lifting this weight by having the belt rest across my forearms. It comfortably lifted this weight without any cause for concern. I reached out to the supplier for clarification as to how much weight the belt can safely handle. I received a reply stating this belt can, "... safely lift up to 125kg-150kg". Well a range difference of 25kg is quite substantial. Even taking the lower figure of 125kg; it will more than accommodate a very large amount of people using a dipping belt. The chain is fixed to a d ring on the belt at one end and a carabiner attaches to the d ring on the other side. I would much prefer for each end to attach via carabiners because then the chain could be easily removed and used as an extension chain for other exercise purposes. Making the product far more flexible and useful. As a dipping belt, it is reasonably priced at £14.99. I have not handled and used other dipping belts, and cannot therefore provide a comparison to alternatives. This belt seems good value for money. Handling the 50kg of weight I tested it with, without strain, means it should cater for a good majority of people, and should be fine with more than double this amount of weight from what the company has informed me of. I think it can more than fulfil the needs of most people. Its size dimensions is similar to different brands offering this type of product.

Pretty Decent
One of the other reviews complained that the chain doesn't hold the belt shut, but it does - loop the chain with the carabiner end through the other D ring, and it holds it shut like other belts. I'm only just starting now to need a dips belt for my pull-ups and dips, so only tried a diddy 2.5kg weight, but it was fine with that.It seems well made, and I haven't come up against an issue that it only has one carabiner included.

rubbish design
The belt itself irs relatively well made, though quite rigid at first. The problem is that it's outright danmgerous without modification, as the only thing that holds it on your waist is friction at the back, as the chain doesn't close it then grab the weight, due to the placement of the carabiner. I had to add closures and modify it quite heavily to make it sane to use, not quite what you want out of gym kit

the padded back can be improved... too thin...
not impressed by the quality, to be honest. The padded back is not so thick and padded enough in my view, it is quite thin. As for the chain, the carabiner is only on one side. I thought the standard was two carabiners, each side one carabiner. It still functions, but lacks some of the features. The chain is a little too heavy too. The padded back is fairly wide but lacks adequate support in my view when you are doing dips with weights especially. I think it is more a basic / introductory type of dip belt. I would source alternative dip belts.

Dip Belt
Brilliant item! This is a good piece of kit for dips. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the item as it was better than I expected for the price. The belt is quite well made (picky seamstress here inspecting each stitch) and made of good materials. The D rings seem secure and I'd have no issue putting weight on them and feel confident with them. The internal material seems like some sort of neoprene-reinforced material, soft but very strong. I'm really pleased with this.

Very well made
This is a really well-made product although I have found it a little uncomfortable on my back could do with some more padding in it but I found it so simple and straightforward to use this hold a good amount of weight for myself personally and I feel comfortable when using it this doesn’t really hold on to your self well other than through friction so you do need to set your hips in a good position. This is definitely making a difference in my daily workout so I would happily recommend especially at such a low price

Dip Belt for Weight Training on a Budget - Minor Design Tweaks Needed
This budget dip belt does the job for weighted dips, pull-ups and squats, though a few adjustments could make it even betterPros:- Durable, sturdy chain holds up well with heavy weights (tried 30kgs)- Neoprene padding offers decent back support- Adjustable 91cm chain should fit most body types- Good value, ideal for home gym setupsCons:- Only includes one carabiner, limits flexibility- Padding could be thicker for extra comfort
