Q: Will this fit a small girls head

No it will not fit a kids head or any regular sized women’s head. It’s a large cap which should be listed as men’s. I had to return mine as soon as I opened the box. I tried it on and it was so loose it was dangling on top of my head.

Q: It says dry clean / hand wash only. Has anyone machine washed this and did it hold up?

I washed it in cold and layers flat to dry

Q: Does this feel like microfiber

It is not scratchy , It is very soft.

Q: how is this windproof? ordinary poly fleece is very breezy. Does it have a wind barrier?

I don't know if it has a wind barrier but my husband says this hat keeps him the warmest of all his hats even on windy days.
