I bought this to replace solid white drain line that didn't have a U trap before. The night before I was traveling out of state my drain clogged internally with bioslime and tripped the overflow cutoff. I had no way to know it wasn't draining properly or any way to easily unclog the drain outlet. This will be a lifesaver in that respect as it's as easy as uncapping one of the caps and running the included brush into the drain line to clear out any blockages. Very easy to install if you the right tools and supplies. I had to cut an inch off each end of the clear tube for clearance in my installation but it works just fine. Excellent choice to put on your AC handler drain outlet to be able to quickly clean the lines and see if you have a clog!

I installed this product for an attic system in Ohio. Therefore the trap would be subjected to freezing in the winter. I filled it with water and threw it in the freezer, and it was fine. Love the fact that it is clear plastic so you can see any blockage, and it comes with a brush for cleaning. All you have to do is pop off the blue covers and clean it

This is exactly what I needed because my old one clogged right at the P-trap and I had to cut it all out and it was draining into the emergency pan.

Used on my hvac for drainage to the floor. Perfect!

Parts were metric, too loose fittings

Product pages show a fully assembled product and that is what I expected. Opened the box to find all the parts needing assembly.
