Easy to apply, excellent effect.
I was quite wary of painting my kitchen cabinets but really wanted to change the colour from the light wood effect so I bit the bullet and started my project. I just took off the handles and left the doors in place. I cleaned with sugar soap then followed the instructions on the tin. I took the handles off the doors and used a four inch sponge roller to apply the paint to the flat part using a round brush for the grooves. Two coats was all it took and I am delighted with the effect.

Ashame it scratches of so easily
This paint has transformed my kitchen I’m really pleased with the way it looks, easy to apply, it took two coats to cover my old cupboards. I brought the 750ml and I have a little left in the tin for touch ups. Only downfall is it scratches off so easily! Even just catching it with your nail. Would have given five stars had this not been an issue.Update......I have given this paint 5 stars as it’s had time to dry and doesn’t scratch off easily. Only scratches when still slightly wet. I’m very pleased 😀

Lovely grey, easy to use
Revived our bathroom with this paint, went on easily although personally feel it needs two coats. Really happy with the colour too, a lovely modern grey.

Lovely color's
Johnstone's paint is the best paint and it's the cheapest as well, I've bought every colour so far. Just waiting on my yellow coming. Not only can you paint metal and wood, I painted 3 plastic chairs with 3 different colors. And it went on beautifully, Took about 4 coats but you'd never know it was wood paint. I've also painted big rocks in my garden. I waterd some down a little bit for the rocks, And it also went on lovely, The colours are beautiful and bright too. My garden looks great now. Will definitely be buying Johnstone's paint again once i run out

This paint is a "wonder".
I thought I would have to buy new kitchen cupboards. I am asthmatic and so the thought of the upheaval and dust of fitting new ones was not one I cherished. I did not want to sand the wood or use strong chemicals and searched around for a modern paint that would do the job. I thought I was grasping at straws then, lo and behold, I discovered this wonderful paint. It really is low odour and really does dry very quickly and really does go on in one coat. I didn't sand the cupboards or take the doors off, I simply washed the cupboards down twice with sugar soap and let them dry. A four inch roller with tray and spare rollers and a set of nylon brushes each from a pound shop did the job beautifully. Now instead of dingy brown, outdated and scratchy looking cupboards I have a beautiful pale grey kitchen which seems to have increased in size, half as much again.
