Great Value for the money
Great mini computer. Graphics and sound are fine. Fast processor. Boots up very quickly and comes with Windows 11 pro. Excellent choice and mostly quiet.

This is a competent little guy!!
The media could not be loaded. Since i got this in the mail i have been using it almost none stop. I mainly bought this to do Minecraft on and do server maintenance, along with some video editing using cyberlink director suite 365. I have a gaming desktop that I was doing this on but I noticed that i was using it less for gaming and so I wanted to try and get something that could do everything i wanted in a small form factor. This also out performce my current custom pc's cpu. it has an amd ryzen 5 3600 but not the gpu lol. I have been enjoying gmktec dive i have been on so i got the m4 because it had an i9 which i thought would be great for video editing the igpu should be able to handle minecraft and some other lite weight games. For minecraft i play ATM10 currently which is a pretty heavy mod pack. I have a dedicated server that is currently running on a m3. One aspect about the size i do enjoy is that i can through my mobile 15" usbc screen and this in my backpack and take it to work and set it up on my work desk and it doesnt take up much room and doenst look out of place. I have been bringing it to work about once a week since i got it. so i can do benchmarks and stuff on it along with play minecraft in my down time. ill include my benchmark scores at the end. This little guy has been rock solid stable for me. not one hang or freeze. the fan is audible but not loud at all under normal usage. When rendering videos the fan kicks up but its not overly loud. It sure pumps out plenty of hot air.I enjoy this little guy. its easy to open and upgrade. just take out 2 thumb screws and slide the case forward. then you need to remove 3 more screws from the 2.5" disk caddy and your ram and ssd are right there. being that this comes with 32gb of ram you dont really need to upgrade anything in this. the only thing wish this had was a second m.2 ssd slot. its nice that it can have a sata 2.5" drive but i would have loved to see a second m.2 pciex4Benchmarks: geekbench 6 single core 2304, multi 9613, opencl 6939,onnx direct ml 1268, onnx cpu ml 2697. Cinebench r23 single 1544, multi 11029.TLDR good all around computer for some heavier workloads like video editing. i play minecraft daily on it. easy to upgrade. stable running. fans are quiet and only kick up to high rpm when under heavy load.

Mini in size - Mighty in performance!
I've only had this mini-PC for a few days, and have spent most of my time learning where everything is under Windows 11 (I'm migrating off Windows 10). There are no peripherals included, so you'll have to furnish your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse. But Windows 11 is included. So Far, I have moved almost all my files off my old Win 10 PC onto the GMK. I have had no problem using my LG 43" 4K monitor or attaching an external Hard Drive. I bought a rather low-cost mini-wireless-keyboard for it, which works just fine. One thing I am having some issues with is adding a second SSD. But my issues may be more due to my ignorance rather than a GMK or Windows 11 issues. I may have more to say later (or not.)So far, so good! I'm even impressed!Update: 30Mar25: Mini-computer stopped working. Will be filing a claim thru Asurion insurance. Oops! nevermind. I got that miniPC working again! Turned out to be using a short HDMI extension on the monitor. Once the extension was removed, the PC began working again. All is well, now!

Great PC with One Exception
I looked long and hard to replace an old Lenovo K330 desktop. This GMKtec stood out as having the best specs and good reviews. It is a little jewel of a computer, However, the fan noise was too distracting. The fan was constantly surging on and off, fast (louder) and slower (quieter). I tried WIN11 power settings, even playing with the BIOS power settings, but nothing made much difference. Finally, I contacted GMKtec support. They were prompt and eager to help. They made several suggestions, including a complete factory reset, which I did. However, nothing really improved things. The fan noise is particularly distracting because it it fluctuates so much. It's like having hearing a wind storm in the background. Finally I asked for and got a replacement PC. I was excited to open the box, but this unit behaved exactly the same. I think the i9 CPU generates too much heat for the box to dissipate without triggering the fan all the time. Sadly, I returned the unit to Amazon. I'm now more alert to reviews that mention fan noise in these tiny PCs. I'm going back to full desktop designs, hoping that they aren't so sensitive to heat and fan noise.

Crashes and Restarts 5 times a Day
I really wanted to like this computer. I have the same set-up that I did with my HP Laptop, but I wanted a faster processor, so opted for the i9. I liked the small size since my office doesn't have much room. I have 2 monitors set up, keyboard, mouse...nothing fancy or complicated. It crashes with the blue screen with a giant sad face, and restarts CONSTANTLY! To the point where I can't get any work done. I have looked at the Windows error logs and they show something different every time. I've gone to forums, downloaded windows patches, tried everything. Nothing seems to work.I have updated this review, because the crashing got worse. All system software was up to date. I had an IT guy look at my settings, and everything was ok. So I had to return it. It crashed 3 times while trying to wipe the hard drive. What a nightmare!
