It was, as advertised. Lots of tips for painting snow in an affecting way.

Almost as good as taking a class. Step by step instruction. If you love to paint and like to try new ideas, Terry Harrison is a great read and great at leading you into trying new techniques.

Demonstrations are great, lots of examples, but the front cover picture is only shown and instructions or colors are not included for it in the book.

A very good instruction book written by a wonderful artist who just last year passed away.Rest in peace, Terry, your talent as an artist and teacher will be so missed.

I live in the mountains and love white winters. This book was very helpful in getting those wintery scenes into paintings.

Je n'ai pas encore expérimenté les techniques proposées dans le livre que j'ai seulement lu en diagonale par manque de temps. Cependant il me semble très complet et bien expliqué. J'ai hâte d'en profiter par l'expérimentation. Je trouve très dommage qu'il est impossible de trouver des livres semblables en français...

Der Autor zeigt eine Fülle von Tipps zum Aquarellmalen. Auch wenn mein Schulenglisch (notfalls hilft ja der Google-Übersetzer) manchmal hapert, verstehe ich alles, weil es anschaulich mit Bildern dargestellt ist. Man muss auch nicht unbedingt den Malstil des Autors mögen, aber die Tipps und Anregungen kann man trotzdem gut gebrauchen! ein absoluter Kauftipp von mir!
