Brightening Pumpkin Enzyme Face Mask 2oz W/ Glycolic Acid, Lactic and Citric Acid - Instant Gel Exfoliating Mask For Anti Aging, Younger Refreshed Neck and Facial Area Skin Care

I got this because I have liked the Peter Thomas Roth pumpkin enzyme mask but it's so pricy and I wanted to see if I could get similar results for less. I'm a fan.Experience: The scent is fine -- not offensive but not amazing (that's never a deal breaker for me but many people get really into this aspect of skincare). It has the consistency of those old school skin exfoliators -- a gel texture with rough bits in it. Not unpleasant. It tingles a bit when you apply it but no stinging. I have sensitive skin that can be very reactive to products, but it handled this one very well. I use once a week, and I will skip a week if my skin seems irritated. I don't think you would want to overdo it because you don't want to totally strip your skin.Results: After I wash it off (after 10 minutes, as directed), I get a tiny bit of redness for a brief time, but then my skin feels smooth and springy with a nice glow. I don't know if it will have any longterm benefits, but the short-term results are terrific and just what I was looking for.Verdict: Recommend. I do think the PTR mask is higher quality -- a smoother, thicker texture and better scent. But the results are about the same. A very good lower-cost dupe if you are looking for one.

I didn't enjoy this product as much as others I have tried. It's twice the price and I feel like some other masks give a lot more benefit in really making me feel like the mask is working. Also, this one has a slightly chemical like smell, it's not awful, but the other smells really good, like pumpkin.Also, this does not come in a glass jar (a lot of them don't). There is far too much plastic in the world today and I'm really into sustainable products that are thoughtful as to the circular (not linear) nature of a product. How is the entire product, including the packaging, going to be renewed? Plastic is not renewable, even with recycling (look it up for more data). Glass is far better for the planet.There is another pumpkin mask on Amazon sold in a glass jar that I've tried before and like. I think I'll go back to that, for 1/2 the price (it's twice the amount for the same price). It has a chemical in it I'm not thrilled with (EDTA), but no fragrance and I'll live with it because it does come in the glass jar and I can feel good about myself when I recycle it.

After two weeks of long vacation my skin was very congested i used multiple different SPF lotions being that I’m a mom with two kids and I just throw on my face whatever I find. It’s only July so I’m not ready to give my face a full on chemical peel being that we are still in the middle of the summer so that is why I purchased this product and I must say I am so happy I did I left it on for 10 minutes keep in mind I do have a high tolerance as I do chemical peels all winter long... if you’re looking for a Quick facial detox with amazing glowing skin afterwards this is your go to product I must say I truly love it... I am definitely re-purchasing ....

Love it! The smell was fine, it didn't particularly stand out as being bad or good. It DID tingle, but I do have moderately sensitive skin. I have used acids in the past so I skipped doing the patch test and I let it sit for about 3 mins and rinsed with lukewarm water. I noticed a difference after one use... My skin looked brighter and smoother. I am primarily using this to reduce dark spots from acne, so I'll update with photos in a few weeks.

The first purchase was the 1 ounce size and I loved it so much I decided to purchase the larger 2.5 ounce size. However I paid for the larger size and received the same 1 ounce size. Pretty disappointed in this. I would love to give this a five star review because the product itself is amazing.

I know they tell the size but it really was a small amount. But that would be ok if I loved the product. It’s a pumpkin enzyme but is not pumpkin colored or scented. It’s brownish/green and not particularly great smelling. I’ve tried other pumpkin masks and this one is disappointing in color and scent. Sorry Alana.

It looked like some had already been used out of the jar and the lid was not sealed so I was afraid to use it and it is being returned. Something you put on your face, should be sealed, did someone else use that? Was it returned once? Was it something that was rejected and sent out by mistake? I can't take a chance on that.

I’m a fan of this mask. I use it about once a week and my skin has noticeable improvements. I have sensitive skin but it handles this product well. Masks I’ve used in the past have burned and left my skin red. I have none of that with this one.
