The knives are sharp enough for everyday tasks, though not the sharpest I’ve used. They feel a bit smaller and lighter compared to other sets, but that could be a plus for someone newer to cooking. Given the price point, they’re solid quality and definitely get the job done. The ceramic coating is a nice touch, and the block keeps everything organized on the counter.

I am in love with this set! It has the essential knives you would commonly use. It has a vase type storage to keep them in one place. It doesn’t take too much space either. Kitchen shears! You don’t see many sets like these that include kitchen shears. The colors give it a clean and simple look. They’re well made and easy and comfortable to handle/hold. The slots on the vase don’t have a set slot for each knife so some them sit closely together or to one side. All in all, this is a pretty solid set to have in your kitchen. Highly recommend.

(Please excuse the mess that is my kitchen, that’s not what this is about 😆)I was considering getting new knives because I’ve had mine for a few years and they were getting dull and the coloring was chipping off which I thought probably wasn’t safe to keep using. I was really surprised by how sharp these knives were! They’re really easy to cut with, I love that it comes with a few paring knives since I cut a lot of fruit and it’s annoying when a knife is in the middle of a wash. They’re dishwasher safe which is a big plus for me since I feel safer using things that have been disinfected by the heat in the dishwasher. Something I would like to note is the holder it comes with. What I really like about this is that the knives don’t have a designated spot like a wooden stand would. It’s just several slots that you can stick any knife in. It’s not hard to tell which knife you’re reaching for since there’s really only a big one, a bread knife, and paring knives. It also has enough room to store some older knives as well which is great because it means I can keep them all in one place instead of having several holders or looking in drawers. I was worried I wouldn’t like the wooden handles but they’re not scratchy. They’re actually quite smooth and have a nice hand feel. I’ve had no issue using these so far and I cut a lot of chicken and fruits. I can’t think of any reason not to go for these honestly!

This set seems like many knifes for a low $30 sale price, and it is, but also can mean lower quality.The quality of this set is not a higher quality set, but it is not a lower quality set, either. IMO it falls in the "daily use" category, which is exactly why I ordered this set.The set has several knifes to cover the variety of kitchen uses, and it includes scissors as well. The ad states to "rinse clean" after use, and doesn't mention dishwasher safe from what I saw, so I assume no dishwasher safe.The tall knife stand that comes with it is simply weighted plastic and does not look good on my counter, so it will get thrown out and I'll keep these knifes in a drawer. These knifes are definitely not as sharp as brand-new knives should be, either. I'll sharpen them up and use them as my every day, rough service set.
