Gears still strip and only using 18v, not worth the extra money

They are faster than original gearboxes but will trip relay if it gets too hot

I used this motor/gearbox combo as a 12V upgrade in my 2 yr old son's 'lil quad. It was a direct fit, easy install, and increased the speed so he really enjoyed riding it. Unfortunately the motor burned out after roughly a week of intermittent use. It wasn't abused or over-used, only used in short spurts (5 minutes or so at a time) and not every day. Disappointed that it didn't last longer.

It's suppose to be 12v but it shorted out the battery.

I used this item to replace on my son's best choice Jeep. It was a direct fit! Install was easy, picked up the back and pressed the accelerator and it spun a lot faster then the old set. My son hopped in, hit the gas and we could hear the motors whine and it didn't move. After a few seconds it died out. I gave him a push and he went a ways but as soon as it felt any strain it died out(grass is not strain). Also he's 3 so it's not like I there was a grown man in there. Frustrated to say the least!!!! I'm not happy either.

Both motors burned out with in a hour of use with a 3 year old riding it.

These were great for the 20 minutes we got to use them. But, the motors literally burned out after 20 minutes running at 12v.
