Make yourself taller!
4.0 Tennis female player just picked up pickleball in Jan 2017! Played with the Maxima 21P a few times and other wider paddles before purchasing it. Loved the extra length. Only 4 stars as I'm still trying to decide if the narrower width is an issue or not! Would buy again! Love the extra length, gives my 5'10 frame that much more coverage!!

Too much of a sacrifice for the added power and reach.
(4.0 player) I just tried the helo, even pricier one of these elogated. The longer bat yes is potentially more power BUT I lost way to much on finesse, spin, some control, some feel, and net defense when its hit hard right at me. The reach yeah is better but I missed way more up front for the one or two lobs and reaches I managed. Dinking reach very nice but the feel of the graphite with the control and spin even better for dinking.

it is good. Some people say the sweet spot is smaller ...
I have several rackets but this is the only one with this particular shape. It does take some getting used to. I bought it to play singles and will only know the true results after my tournaments in the spring. From what I have seen so far in rec play, it is good. Some people say the sweet spot is smaller but to my thinking, the sweet spot should be in the middle of any racket you play so it should not be a factor. Maybe that is just me.

Needed the extra length
As a tennis player transitioning from a long racquet I found myself hitting on the top edge of the standard size pickle ball racquet. This extended length adds another inch +, which helps my game.

My stepfather doesn't have an Amazon Prime account, so he asked me to buy this here. he got me in to playing pickleball about 2 months ago.He really likes the paddle and it definitely makes him play better. He hits a lot more mean shots with more spin also. I tried it and I liked it also, but I didn't use it enough to get use to it. He is definitely happy with this paddle.

I think it does help the reach against taller players.
It does help the reach but I'm not completely sure it's improving my game. (Maybe nothing will, maybe I'm never going to be very good at it but I will keep trying because it's fun!) The surface area is the same obviously, it's just not as wide. I think shorter people should try this racket but understand the racket is skinnier so you lose the coverage on the sides :-)

Highly recommend
4.5/5 stars. 3.0 5'4" player. Playing with mantra paddle previously which I loved but because of my short arm felt like I was missing balls perhaps an elongated paddle could reach. I have been playing over a month now with this paddle and love it. Downside, if you play vs people who spin the ball well it sometimes will spin right off the edge of the paddle and out. Upside, you can reach balls like rainbows and other shots you could never get b4. Overall I LOVE this paddle so much I now have 2! Benefits of improved reach far outweigh downside of smaller sweet spot for me.

Great clearance price.
Got a great deal on the close out of this paddle and like the longer length and narrower style of the paddle.
