Exact fit for my State Select water heater. The old part would not keep the burner on. Noe the pilot is on and the burner stays on when needed. We have hot water again. Replacing this part was very easy with a wrench.

Worked like a champ. Didn’t have to spend $2500’plumber was going to charge to replace water heater.

I ran a series of amateur tests on our water heater. The pilot would ignite and then shut off. I suspected the heating element was rusted and just no longer working on our 10+ year unit. I called around and everybody recommended replacing the entire unit and the lowest was $1400. I persevered and purchased this, called in a professional to switch this out and a fraction of the replacement cost.Shipping was quick and simple. Package and parts were perfect.So grateful I didn't have to spend that much money!

Easy to install, the exact fit.

Had issues getting the pilot light to stay on in my AO Smith GCV 50 water heater and figured it was an issue with the thermocouple. I ended up ordering this replacement unit. I probably didn't need the rest of the components but it really made it easy to replace it all vs. taking it apart, about 10 minutes to remove the old unit and put this one in. It came with instructions, although I didn't notice them in the box until after I was done.

After calling a few local places I realized I wasn't going to find this part around here. So off to Amazon I go and even though it was supposed to arrive later it got here in about 2 days! Yeah! A pain to install but not rocket science. I got it done in about half an hour and it lit right up and started heating.

This unit came mis-assembled and required repair before I could use it. Poor quality welding and mid-aligned gas supply tube.
