Dual-certified for both bike and skate, it also has patented MIPS technology that reduces rotational forces during impact. An ABS shell with EPS liner, engineered for a close fit and low profile, is separated by a low friction layer that allows the helmet to slide when subjected to an angled impact. Ideal for biking, skateboarding, longboarding, BMX, roller derby, and commuting, the helmet complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older and ASTM F-1492 Skate safety standards. The Triple 8 Dual Certified MIPS Helmet includes two different sets of removable helmet pads to customize fit, and has an adjustable chin strap with side release buckle. Available in three sizes: XS/S fits 19.7 – 21.5 in (50 – 55 cm), S/M fits 21.5 – 22.75 in (55 – 58 cm), L/XL 22.75 – 24 in (58 – 61 cm). To determine proper size, measure the circumference of the head starting in the middle of the forehead (use a soft measuring tape or string). Helmet liners should be used to further customize the fit.

Not comfortable, returned
I ended up returning this helmet. I bought it along with the Triple 8 dual certified sweat saver, so that I could compare both. The certified sweat saver is soooo much more comfortable and better fitting than this one. I measured my head and ordered the proper sizes based off the measurements. The certified sweat saver sits low on my head, is lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable for being a helmet. The pads inside that one are nice and soft. This one with the MIPS technology, it sits way high up on my head, and feels uncomfortable on my head, and the pads are barely even pads, more like pieces of fabric. I was willing to give the MIPS technology a try, but the certified sweat saver is a better fit for me, and still has safe technology being that it's dual certified. Maybe in the future, the MIPS one will not only be as safe but as comfortable as the current dual certified helmets.As far as the quality, it looks to be a good quality triple 8 product. Smooth matte finish, beautiful color, sturdy well made straps. It's just very uncomfortable, which wouldn't have encouraged me to wear it.

There's no head adjustment to this helmet except the chin strap.
Not sure what makes this MIPS when all the other MIPS helmets I've gotten my kids have this extra shell that's actually separate from the helmet surface itself. Sure, they have a thin yellow plastic glued to inside the helmet...but what makes it MIPS? People tell me triple eight is supposed to be nice skateboard helmets. So, I bought two different models for my kids. One of my kids is adjustable and it was cheaper without the MIPS. this one is MIPS and has no adjustment. Both were more expensive than others. I think Triple Eight just got a niche going by being associated with skateboarding and roller blades and whatnot, but not that they're an actual quality product any more than say a Schwinn bike helmet you get at Walmart. At least all Schwinn helmet's (actually all bike helmets) I've ever seen are adjustable. For the price of less material than adult helmets in the same price range without any ability to adjust is...a rip off in my book. Literally there's no additional system to cushion the blow when my kid hits the ground it's all foam into his skull. No wait. there is that yellow plastic piece as thin as paper in there...that's the MIPS.

OUR OFFICIAL MIPS UPGRADE GEAR
We bought several sizes of this helmet as our official MIPS upgrade gear for various activities. We use it for biking and electric scooter riding mostly. It has the latest safety technologies and certifications so we chose this. In Florida it gets hot here and this remains cool and comfortable so far.I wish it came in ladies colors though because we are all women wearing them in blue.We just wear blue jeans and blues in our blouses to match it on the mobility days we use them. LOL We would have liked white or pink. Anyway, this item earns 5 stars from us!

Poor interior helmet quality
This helmer had 4 interior plastic screws that immediately grabbed my hair and ripped it out. The helmet also seemed to be too wide on the left and righy side. I recommend looking at the truple eight that some with the sweatsaver interior, or choosing a helmet with the interior liner dial to ensure a good fit

Too small in L/XL, with short strap
Helmet seems to be of good quality and looks good, but it’s too small - L/XL is more like medium, and strap is too short. I think it’s for kids sizes but I don’t see anything describing it as such.

Great fit & comfortable
My son loves it for his BMX life. He's had it on almost everyday since the helmet arrived and has already added all his favorite decals to truly make it his. He says it's the best helmet he's had yet!Fortunately no crashes to say we've truly tested it out -- but as a parent, I'm stoked we went with the MiPS technology for that added protection. Thanks for making great helmets, Triple8!

Sizing Chart Off
My head measured 22.5 cm cirumference. I ordered the S/M and it's too small.Kinda reluctant to order the size larger though, i usually have M on literally everything, a L/XL feels like will be too big... + 2 cm is a lot. I realize these days companies try to cut down on production cost and what used to be a solid xs s m l xl is now condensed into 3 sizes. Start having a lot more issues sizing the right gear these days...

protection with minimal padding and comfort
This is a low profile helmet and fits narrow. I was hopeful for the right fight but I have a more round head and this was uncomfortable to wear after the first minute. The padding on the inside provides little to no comfort.

Good but sizing is way off
It seems good quality but the sizing is sort of weird. I have ordered the correct size yet I was unable to put on my head as it was super tight and very uncomfortable. Feels like it is designed for very narrow head

Top Helm, Beschichtung anfällig!
Sitzt, wackelt hat luft und sieht gut aus. Leider ist das Material super anfällig und man sieht wirklich jeden Kratzer. Also nichts mit einfach mal in den Kofferraum schmeißen.
