Don't understand all the negative reviews about not including mounting bolts. It's not in the description so why would you expect it to be included?? These are super heavy duty and very well made. Before installing be sure to take apart and use some good grease on the nylon bushings. Will keep them silent and wear free for the next century. Now for some facts/my opinions:- Has nylon washers and a nylon bushing- Mounting holes are 0.44" diameter so have to use 3/8" bolts/screws but there is plenty of room to drill out to 1/2" if you need 1/2" size bolts/screws.- Mounting holes are 3 5/8" center to center- Hanging hole is 0.67" diameter with a slight elongation for the carabiner- If using 3/8" bolts/screws, you can absolutely use a socket without having to take apart- The bolt going through the swing actually screws into the bracket on the opposite side and then you screw the lock nut onto it. Will never accidentally come apart- Would NEVER use the included Carabiner hooks for anything over ~150 pounds. No proof but just look cheesy compared to the swing hanger.- If using for porch swings, also highly recommend using with this something like "Prime-Line Products SP 9678 Porch Spring". That way if the spring breaks, there is a fail safe to prevent somebody from getting hurt.

One squeaked from the beginning. Nothing has been able to stop it. I’ve taken it apart cleaned it, tried teflon spray lube, bearing grease, made sure it wasn’t too tight, over tightened it. It easing even due to rain. Right out of the box I had issues with one of the 4 I bought. The other work great and feel really sturdy. I even tested their weight capacity with 2 adults weighing about 450 lbs and they swung great

This is no joke. We put 6 people in a hammock and the grip held no problem. Super heavy duty.

do not normally write reviews, but my experience was note worthy and may help others looking at this product. I ordered this product and found it to be heavy duty. Normal castings defects are occasionally found like surface porosity and light rust. Product had a galv coating. As advertised, there are no lag bolts included but these can be found at local hardware store @$1.50 ea with washer. I used galvanized because on attaching to pressure treated lumber. Szbrt shipped product timely and employees were very responsive and curteous when working with questions and exchanges. This was a solid experience and this company proved reputable for me.

Not sure if these will actually hold 2400 lbs.... But they are VERY heavy duty. Used these for a swingset, and I'm confident they will hold. They squeak... Spray with WD-40.... The holes for bolts say 1/2 inch, but a 1/2 inch bolt will not fit. I had to go with 3/8 inch. Overall I'm pretty happy.... Minus 1 star because I had to make a second trip to Lowes to exchange the bolts. Take one with you when you go buy hardware to check the fit!!

These things are heavy duty and quite massive. At first I thought they may be an overkill for a porch swing but I’m glad we went ahead and decided to try them! It is the most steady and smooth swinging experience I’ve ever had and we’ve had porch swings my entire life. I’ve actually had cheaper swing hardware break mid swing and drop me but I feel completely safe with these. I would definitely recommend these to anyone needing swing hooks. I’ve had mulitiple people on the swing at once and these are still holding strong.

I bought a set of these for my daughter's swing set because the cheaper brackets only support 115lbs per pair which isn't enough to hold an adult. These brackets are wide and heavy duty, MORE than overkill for a swing set. I should've checked the measurements because these things are huge. These will last forever!!

The workmanship on these is quite poor. The holes are not centered in the casting, the plastic spacers are uneven thicknesses. The parts were not cleaned prior to plating, so there are little spots all over that did not get planted. The hooks are completely junk and unsafe due to poor machining. Don't plan to use them.Despite all of that, they are far better than metal on metal chain or eye bolts. I drilled a small hole and added a grease fitting, and they are very smooth.Would I buy them again? Probably not. I would try the slightly more expensive ones hoping for better workmanship next time.
