The proper tool makes any job easy. This is the correct tool for replacing oil filters of various sizes (a Mazda 3 oil filter in my case) and makes the other options look clumsy. The only negative is that the metal seems a little thin (but reasonable for the price).I believe some reviewers mentioned missing parts... this kit is like a socket set for various size oil filters... some of the attachments are likely to fall out of their compartments during shipping. That happened with my order, but nothing was missing.

This kit has a ton of different sizes. Seemed like I never used most of them. The "sockets" are always falling out of their place in the plastic case so I kind of have to shut it extra quick when I'm done. Also the included list of what socket match what cars is a pretty incomplete list. Like it might say "buick" for a socket that also fits all the other GM brands with whatever particular engine but then on another socket be labeled "GM, opel, pontiac, saturn," etc and not buick even if its fits a buick. Similar issues with all the sockets and all the car brands, you're lucky to find the right socket in under a few minutes. Also I'm pretty sure the ratchet broke on the first use. Either that or it was just so cheap feeling that I use my other one regardless. Can't remember. Basically this kits worth buying if you just want to have all the oil filter sockets but the case, ratchet, and compatibility list all leave something to be desired.

I have 4 cars and each has a different size filter, I bought a universal filter wrench but it didn't always work, sometimes if the filter was covered in oil it would slip, these fit over the end of the filter like a wrench over a nut, positive connection and positive fit, you know when this locks into place. they have it set up so you can use a ratchet, a wrench, or the little tool they give you. My neighbors are always borrowing this thing. So far it has been used on a Camry, an Accord, A Jetta, An Elantra, A Ranger, A Frontier, A Ram 1500, a Ram 2500 diesel, and a Silverado. It had a tool that fit every one of those vehicles. Great set, wish I bought this thing years ago.

Provides options to get just about any oil filter off. The fit seems to be correct based on the sockets I have used. The storage box is really helpful for keeping things organized.

I still constantly find that I still don't have the correct adapter for some vehicles. Seems wild since there are 23 pieces, but it is what it is. Quality seems mediocre but the price was acceptable.
