I kid you not when I say I’ve been practicing with a normal barrel curling iron to get the utah curls all over tik tok, the loose curls, the messy/undone look and I just couldn’t get it… but I’ve had an oval waver and I remembered loving the curls when I used that but I’ll admit, I like clamp curlers way more than wands, I don’t know why, it’s just how I am… so when I came across this clamp oval curler I had to have it! And I’m so glad I did! It gave me the most beautiful curls!! I read they’re long lasting so we shall see but if the curls come out like this every time and the curls last, well then this might be my ONLY curling iron from now on!

Works OK, although it is sometimes difficult to choose the temperature you want. Never sure when it's locked in.

I really liked this curling iron initially & loved that you can control the temperature. But, after 3 months of semi-regular use (not daily, maybe 3-4x weekly), the spring to close the iron well & hold my hair in to curl is shot. So, my hair falls out before getting curled. Not a great buy, as I'm looking to replace it now.

This is my first time trying the oval wand curling iron, the result turn out good.The curling iron is super light weight. Heat up pretty fast.If you want some curly look , I would strongly recommend that. I'm not sure how it works, but the oval must do something to the curve, it last longer then the traditional curling iron.Overall : it keeps the shape longer than the traditional curling iron, but it's not for the natural wavy look.
