I needed something small and easy to clean my dog loved carrots. I would feed them to her sliced, but since she has numerous teeth extracted, it is difficult for her to chew on carrots thus she will not, but I chopped up a carrot, put it in this little mini food processor chop it up and she has carrot confetti and easy to deal with. I also am interested in plants when we have eggs. I take the egg shells rinse them out in a little bit of water. Put them on the counter until it dry throw them in this cute little mini blender and now I have chopped up egg shells to mix with my soil with dealing with my plants. I’m pleased with this works works easily and if I could take it apart, put it in the dishwasher and it’s all set for the next day. Great purchase.

I am in love with this appliance. I got it to grind up chicken, turkey and pork for my puppies. I live in an area where I can buy meats in bulk at a good price, so since I cook my dogs foods, I wanted to take advantage of that resource. I've had it about a month now, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I'm hopeful it continues to perform well.I read of a couple of reviews with negative reviews for the little ring around the bottom of the bowl. This has not been an issue for me. It comes right off and cleans easily. And it does an excellent job of keeping the bowl fixed to the counter top. Also, I actually LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the little food guard. It keeps the motor component clean and keeps stuff from flying out all over the place!Another thing I really love is the glass bowl. I really like being able to see the consistency of my grind before removing the lid. The metal containers would limit this aspect and make you take the top off to see if your food is ground up to the consistency you want.All in all, very pleased. Just hoping it'll hold up. I definitely recommend this product!PS... it also works great on veggies such as sweet potatoes and carrots!

Love the size: Smaller than most 'food processors,' and larger than 'mini processors.' Love that the container is glass rather than acrylic or ABS plastic. All in all, does the job nicely, especially for mincing cooked or raw meats. Simple to use. I enjoy using this appliance. I like needing relatively small storage space since the motor is separate from the bowl w blade unit. Has some drawbacks, too; liquids can splash out easily if you're not careful; otherwise, liquids are not a problem. As with other similar designs, you have to be careful in cleaning cutting blades.

Very sharp blades. Works well on everything I’ve tried, carrots to cheese, even frozen veggies.

It is easy to assemble not just from the beginning, but every time I use it, it doesn’t take forever to put it to use.This size is great.It is fast, I can put a lot in at the same time.Carrots, cabbage, onions, mushrooms, garlic I will use this a lot. I hope that the designer will come up with an additional blade that can be used for bling as well.It is not super noisy and I’m sensitive to that. It is very easy to clean. I really like it.

I was really excited about getting this food chopper b/c it had a glass bowl and all of the glowing reviews made it seem like a sensible choice. However, I ran into two major issues.The first is how frustrating this unit is to run reliably. The first chopping has always been flawless. Subsequent choppings require an incredible degree of finesse to align the motor and blade teeth for the unit to actually engage. If unfamiliar with how these systems operate, food chopping is accomplished by taking a hand held motor, suspending it directly over the lid and then having everything in alignment for it to begin processing. The problem is the Homelander food chopper is super finicky and requires almost endless attempts to align the teeth perfectly enough for the motor to kick- on.The second issue is the apparent poor quality of the glass bowl. I sliced my finger wide open this afternoon on a razor sharp chipped edge of the bowl rim while loading in the dishwasher. The bowl has never been dropped, banged or struck against other objects. Likewise, I never noticed any defects after unboxing and the package was received without evidence of impact damage.The only thing I can deduce is this was either due to a manufacturer's defect in the glass at the time of production or fragile glass that cracked when the lid was installed. Admittedly, I didn't expect a Pyrex bowl, but the fragile nature / apparent poor quality of this Homelander unit is beyond ridiculous....especially since I've only owned it a few weeks and used it 3- times. Buyer beware!!
