Smells really nice. My chicken seems to like it. I sprinkle some on her nesting pad. Very small bag but it has lasted for a while. I only sprinkle a bit each time I use it.

My chickens love this! I love that it helps their egg shells & yolks & keeps them contently pecking their treat while laying eggs. It looks & smells beautiful but it doesn’t last long once I sprinkle it in their nest boxes. They eat it up! Expensive but I will be buying again.

As a vine reviewer, I had recently tested another brand of nesting herbs, and my chickens loved it so much that I decided to buy more. But I wanted to see what else was out there. There were so many great reviews on this brand I decided to try it.I will start by saying that I got twice the amount of herbs from the other brand, I think it was less money, although I didn’t pay for it because I was reviewing it.Comparatively, there was practically no scent to the herbs. The other brand I had tried was so fragrant that I sprinkled a handful on The tray that holds my bedding under my roosting bars because it’s so reduced the smell and the smell of lavender was so wonderful that I think it calmed my flock at night.I will say that the herbs in this brand are much chunkier, there are entire rosebuds and flowerheads in there, and they were gone every morning when I went to check for eggs. But the other brand was gone as well, but that brand was not any whole buds or flowers.I feel for the price, I’m not getting near the same benefit that I’m getting from this brand. I wouldn’t use this on my coop floor. It would be a waste of time. And it would certainly be a waste of money. I don’t notice any increase in egg production, but I wasn’t really looking for that. I’m going back to the brand I tested.

Added to plain scratch and the chickens seem to like it. Nice smell.
