Perfect addition to a Maglite
I decided to upgrade my new Maglite with this S/S strike bezel. Certainly not the cheapest thats available, but after comparing online to others, and having received it, the cost factor vanished. This is one tough piece of equipment. Solid stainless steel, perfect and precise machining, and a new gasket and replacement glass lens. This went together like peas in a pod. Solid, well built, and should last longer than I will. I truly hope I never need it for self defense, but its worth having in the truck for emergency glass breakage, if I drive up to such a scene. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase, its worth every penny.!!

JUst did a Total Upgrade to my old Maglite!!! TotallyWorth it!!
So Impressed! I just upgraded my old, trusty Maglite(led, Bezel, & bust a cap glass breaker).Totally worth it! I got a cool looking "Tactical" Flashlight now! I was apprehensive about spending the extra $$ for this Bezel, but upon arrival it Kicks Butt! really worth the extra, since you get a new glass lense & gasket (o ring)& great Quality& craftmanship! Along with the bezel, I installed a new led bulb,Some much better than the weak OG amber bulb, Now this thing looks & performs like a BADASS Light! I like it comes with a clean Glass lens to be in stalled with the bezel. the entire unit is a Great upgrade! now it looks like Batmans Maglite! Fit perfectly on my old 2 D cell Maglite. No Regurts at all!

Great quality, fair price, easy install. Highly recommended.
Well made, great add-on to the 3-D cell LED maglite, at a reasonable price considering. Comes with glass lens to replace the factory lexan lens, and new o-ring; easy install, hardest part is getting the factory bezel unscrewed, which takes some muscle. I think this is a better bezel than the black aluminum one, stronger and less $ to boot. Don’t bother with the pointy buttcap thing if you want to ever carry your light in your hip pocket, this is all you need to have a defensive capability on your light. (Plus those seem to have some connectivity issues.)Add some friction tape to your light body (in case you have to swing it) and you’re good to go. Looks great on all maglight colors, but especially nice on the classic black.

A GREAT ADDITION FOR YOUR GREAT MAGLIGHT
Unreal... this is the only way to make a large old school maglight D cell battery flashlight more effective. Well, this and the 6 D awesome maglight + a spiked back also available on Amazon. These are not cheap. They should not be! The greatest security flashlight ever made (in my opinion and as a Supervisor of often nearly 1,000 security guards); is the 6 D battery Maglight.... Back in the late 1980’s I was going through management school at Disneyland for about a year of intense training. Not only did you learn at The Disney University most days; you were required to also supervise different departments to make for long days and some of the best trained managers in the world. I was the best choice for staying with Managing Security due to my life skills and the fact that I just finished winning a couple of Rose Bowls with UCLA (way back when!); and had experience as a bodyguard and event security +. The parking lot at Disneyland during my time was huge. It’s now California Adventures and Downtown Disney. The guest were almost always lost after a long day at the Park; there was potential for more mayhem than in the Park and my guards were not allowed to carry firearms or even batons. The overwhelming focus of Disneyland is one that creates a common joy for the kids and families who love this place like I do. This carried into the massive parking lot. The difference was that while we all were working hard to get people safely to their lost vehicles; and use a fleet of carts and security vehicles to make the process ‘visitor focused’. We had guards in plainclothes and others who were stationed on top of structures with serious scopes to monitor everything that wasn’t seen on the ground. So I finally come to this item and why I am recommending it very highly. My officers were only allowed to carry the above mentioned XL Maglight for obvious flashlight functions; and for a possible emergency or confrontation which required a defensive tool. I can tell you that these flashlights helped end more problems before they started because we trained the officers to use them as the Anaheim Police did. Now with the addition of this Stricker to the front of a Maglight... I would have felt even better about just being able to give my guys only this flashlight for all events! I have told many friends who have too many concerns about how to answer the door late at night; and still be equipped with a defensive tool that is legal and possible of real security for themselves and family. Whatever size D cell battery maglight you decide to get or own; add this to the front of it and you will see the increase for safety and emergency situations. This is the type of flashlight that firefighters would carry to use for breeches and incidents of vehicle accidents to first respond and save folks. I believe in tactical flashlights as potentially the best tool for initial use when dealing with unknown issues that require a defensive readiness. Whatever the size or brand; as long as they are made for emergency use and illuminating the scene. I have been collecting knives and swords + everything tactical for my whole life. I have a Maglight with this Stricker and a pointed metal screw down on the back. I know that I am going to be able to handle most scenarios and I know that if some creep with a weapon or just mal intent is dumb enough to deal with my huge self- the legal and moral issues will not be about the choice of item that I brought to answer. Long review with a real intention to relay the power of the flashlight and especially the type described above with this brilliant addition!

Super quality
Very strong. Edges are sharp, but not too sharp—Just right. Instantly turns your Maglite into a very effective emergency and self-defense tool. Expensive, yes, but well thought out and well crafted. So we’ll made that I bought 2 of them: one for my wife’s ML300L 4D and one for mine, and mounted them with Maglite brand clamps next to our home’s 2 main doorways so that they’re always easy to grab. Handy to have when you live in a neighborhood that doesn’t have a lot of street lighting.

Rugged and fits like OEM.
I bought this for emergency purposes in case I needed to break the glass out of my vehicle for some reason. I previously bought a tailcap from another company but returned it because it did not look original, and it was not the same diameter as the original Maglight tailcap. This crown is the same diameter as the Maglight lense cap is and looks close to an OEM part. I did mark it down one star due to it not coming in black. If you make this item and you are reading this, please make it in black 304 Stainless steel. The silver does not match the all black maglight flashlights. I considered the black aluminum version, but wanted the rugged toughness of a steel lensecap ring. I would only recommend this to a friend after it comes out in black.

Really good quality!
It went on the Maglite in the car, with a glass-breaking tailcap. Perfect fit on my ML300LX. They included a new glass lens and o-ring, it was everything needed without having to disassemble the old bezel. I imagine -and hope- that it will reside in the door pocket, never to be used as a human flesh hole-saw. But isn't it nice to have, just in case? Highly recommended!
